Holiday Gift Guide For Him

Hi everyone!

It’s finally holiday season and that means it’s time to get stocked up with gifts! I love buying gifts for people. It’s so fulfilling and fun! I’ve put together some of my favorite items that I think would make great gifts for any special man in your life. Of course, some of the best gifts can’t be purchased at the mall. Some of my favorite alternative gift options are tickets to watch a favorite sports team, a DIY craft gift, or if you’re feeling a little spendy–a nice weekend away! One year I made Luke a “Once Upon A Time Story Book” telling the first year of our relationship and he loved it! Purchasing a small trip, or sports tickets are also a great way to go because you can make quite a date out of it, and be creating lasting memories. Anyways, enough chit chat. Time to get shopping! Be on the lookout in the next few days for the ultimate shopping guide for her!

Holiday Collaboration With Jord Watches

Happy (almost) Holidays everyone!

Today I am so excited to share my holiday collaboration with Jord Watches! They specialize in gorgeous wooden watches for the modern man and woman. I love the wooden timepieces because they create such a unique look, especially perfect for the holidays. For some reason, I just can’t help but think of a warm cozy fireplace when I see the beautiful wooden pieces.

I picked out the Frankie series watch in Dark Sandalwood and Smoke. The dark finish is very subtle and gives off such a polished look. My favorite part of the watch is the slight rose gold face which gives the watch a feminine and soft vibe. This winter I’ll be styling mine with all of my favorite turtleneck sweaters and cozy scarves.

With holidays right around the corner, I’ve partnered with Jord watches to give you all 25% off (code expires December 15)! These would make a perfect gift for any loved one. They come beautifully packaged in a custom wooden care box and can easily be adjusted in size. I know for sure that I’ll be getting my dad one of these timepieces for Christmas.

A huge thank you to Johnny Tollefson for the beautiful photos. Make sure you check out his website and Instagram.

Happy shopping everyone! Xo, L!

Last Minute Halloween Costume: French Girl

You guys, Halloween is right around the corner! If you’re like me, that means you wait until the last possible to second to whip up a costume idea. Luckily, I was prepared enough this year to actually shoot a “last minute costume” for you all. I recently purchased this polka dot dress from Topshop (not specifically for this costume) and for some reason it was giving me SERIOUS French girl vibes. Like with a red lip? Come on! It’s not the classic French stripe, but hey, dots are close enough. I’ve also noticed that berets are seriously #trending right now so of course I had to pop one on. It wouldn’t be a French girl outfit with a pop of red, so I chose a red lip! I think a red beret, red bag, or some red booties would also be a great option. What I love most about this look is that it’s something I would actually consider wearing on a daily basis (minus the baguette which is just a fun bonus, and a snack).

I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween! If you decide to be a French girl for Halloween make sure you tag me on Instagram and/or leave a comment! talk soon. xo! L.
